TAG Heuer History

Originally formed in 1860 by Edouard Heuer in the Swiss village of St-Imier Heuer has long had a goal of blending innovation and precision.  Since it's humble beginning Heuer has been a ground breaking company creating the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars, the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/10000th of a second among others…

Earning it's place among respected watch makers Heuer has worked with the FIA Formula 1 World Championships, Olympic Games and the FIS Ski World Cup to name a few.  In 1985, Heuer joined the TAG (Techniques D'Avant-Garde) group, and the TAG Heuer name and logo were created. Now one of the most recognized and sought-after watch brands in the world, TAG Heuer continues its reputation of innovative design and technological excellence, creating prestigious timepieces that are always at the cutting edge of precision, reliability and style.

Aquaracer Watch History

The Aquaracer line up was built on the principle that all water sports demand superb precision built into their watches.  They were originally based on the 2000 series and we're introduced in 1982.  One of the main goals of the Aquaracer line was to produce a water-resistant watch to 300 meters.

The Aquaracer Automatic is stunning example of the Aquaracer line-up and holds true to the promise of the 300 meter water resistance.  While TAG Heuer created a stunning line up in all of the Aquaracer line I think the TAG Heuer Automatic is by far one of the smartest watches available today!
